Create an API Key in the OneAster console with a budget and model permissions. Use your oak_ key, not a supplier key or account session.
Call GET /v1/models first and choose an allowed, available model.

Open the chat endpoint, replace the model placeholder, and keep one Idempotency-Key for the same intent. Explicitly sent generation requests can incur configured charges.
